Colonel Samantha Carter will be back on the small screen before the first season of Stargate Universe is over. Actress Amanda Tapping confirmed to The Huffington Post that she will return for another guest appearance at the end of the season.
“I’ve done two episodes,” Tapping told the site. “I did their first two-parter and I’m at the very end of their season. And I just shot that a few weeks ago. So I started their season and I’m ending their season, which was very cool. But I didn’t get to play with anyone. If they were ever to have me come back, I’d want to be with people. I’m kind of off on my ship, which I think is awesome.”
The actress made a guest appearance in “Air, Part 1,” with Colonel Carter now in command of the Earth ship Hammond. The ship ferried characters to the Icarus Base, then unsuccessfully defended the outpost from an enemy attack
